Scion and Cartel Customs have come up with show car speedster. Making it's debut at the 2012 Long Beach Grand Prix, this car has some stand out features like: Upgraded clutch, exhaust, susprnsion and a 61 inch wing. What do you think? Good, bad, ugly, really ugly?

2012 FORMULA DRIFT AT LONG BEACH GRAND PRIX

The smoking tires, missing car bumpers and engines revving are what I like about drifting. To me it's alot more intersting then watching cars go around an oval track for a long time. Although no one can really pinpoint when drifting was started the Japanese were pursing this sport back in 70-80's. At the Toyota Long Beach Grand Prix it's 3 days of drifting goodness. I had a chance to check out the Team Drifting Challange on Saturday April 14th. The video I made below is of that day.

Lexus LFA Pace Car At Long Beach Grand Prix

I went to the Toyota Grand Prix in Long Beach to see what a general admission ticket can get me and what it did get me was racing overload. Loud engines, burning rubber and the crowd reacting to cars coming to close to walls and other cars. Good Times!!

With only 500 LFA's being made it was great to see one of my favorite cars move on the track so quickly. I had fun watching and filming this.
